Today we celebrate a special day – February 16th, the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania.
On February 16, 1918, Lithuania declared its independence – a bold and historic step that determined the future of our state. It is a day that reminds us of the importance of freedom, unity and responsibility.
The Vilnius Jewish Community congratulates everyone on the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania. We are proud to be an integral part of Lithuanian society, together building an open, respectful and strong country.
May this day inspire us to protect freedom, cherish unity and create a future in which every person feels at home.
